The Novecento Muzzle-Loading model boldly reimagines the 19th-century direct-fill safety pen for the modern writer. True to tradition, ink is filled via an included eyedropper through the front of the pen hence the term muzzle-loading. Once filled, the nib extends forward by twisting the rear mechanism, and the cap screws on securely over the nib for clean and convenient everyday use.

A key advantage of this design is the ebonite feed, which remains immersed in ink even when not in use ensuring a consistently smooth, generous ink flow.
