Sailor Manyo Hinoki – Ink Sample

2ml sample of Sailor Manyo Hinoki dual shading fountain pen ink, in a labeled plastic vial. This smooth-flowing water-based dye ink is specifically formulated to be safe for all fountain pens.

Hinoki is a soft blue-grey that shades out to purple and green. As part of the third release in the Manyo ink series, Hinoki is a dual shading ink, which means it shades different colors than its base colors when pooling into areas of high and low concentration on the paper. Dual shading inks are really fascinating.

Goulet pro tip: This ink looks particularly stunning on water-resistant paper like Tomoe River.
