Nettuno N-E 2.0 Fountain Pen – Thalassa Fine

The N-E 2.0 fountain pen blends beautiful retro Italian style with modern finishes. These full-sized pens are hand-turned from solid rods of Italian resin and feature threaded JoWo nibs with striking polished and mattefinishes,making for one of thebest-lookingpens on the market.

“N-E” refers to Nineteen Eleven, Nettuno’s founding year, and “2.0” being the second iteration of this model released in 2024.

Nettuno,one of Italy’s oldest pen manufacturers,wasfounded in Bologna in 1911 by Umberto Vecchietti. The company ceased operations in the1950s,wasbrieflyrevived in the 1990s byStipula,andreturnedfor a second time in 2018 thankstoMr. Nino Marino, the founder of the Delta andMaiorabrands.

The Vecchietti family has maintained their presence in the pen world with their beautiful stationery store, A.C. Vecchietti, inBologna. They haverun theshopsince 1928.

Today, Nettuno pens are handmade in the Delta/Maiora factory in Naples, Italy, by a small team of expert craftspeople.
