The Nippon Art Bonsai fountain pen highlights an intractable symbol of Japanese culture: the bonsai. A painstaking art requiring great dedication and patience, bonsai was first introduced to Japan during the Tang dynasty, where the practice of training cuttings or seedlings from full-grown trees into miniature versions of their larger counterparts became popular both for its aesthetic and its meditative nature.

This Yukari-sized pen has a 14k gold nib in size #10, fills via cartridge/converter (a CON-70 is included), and comes packaged in a wooden box. Each pen takes months to create.
