The LAMY 2000 has been writing design history since 1966. As a timeless classic, it is still one of the most modern writing instruments today.

For this black version, the body is made of fiberglass known as Makrolon and brushed stainless steel trim provides accents. The lightweight body contains a traditional piston filler mechanism that can be filled with bottled inks only and has a large capacity. The pen barrel also features four small window sections above the grip to view the ink inside. To fill the LAMY 2000, first unscrew the piston knob at the back end of the barrel. Submerge the nib in the ink bottle, and twist the piston knob back into place to suck ink up into the pens internal ink reservoir. Remove the pen from the ink bottle and wipe off any excess ink from the nib and grip section.
