Foolscap paper, a British paper that often appears in the 19th century detective novels “Sherlock Holmes Series” written by British author Arthur Conan Doyle, is said to be the origin of foolscap paper. Foolscap paper is the highest quality writing paper in Japan, with excellent writing properties such as smooth writing feel and good ink absorption.
