Because it’s thread-bound, with a flexible spine, the K+P Aquarell Book lies flat at every page. The landscape sizes are ideal for panoramic sketching, and the hard cover provides a built-in support.
The paper in K+P’s watercolor book is a notch above the usual stock found in journals it’s a mould-made paper in 160 gsm, made from 35% cotton rag, with a cold-press finish and a natural white color. Pigment bonds wonderfully to the double-sized sheets, and your work is protected because the paper is lignin- and acid-free.
Use the K+P Aquarell Book for watercolor, of course, but also for light acrylics (such as acrylic gouache), pastels, pencils, water-soluble drawing media, fountain pens, pigment pens, and many more media. The paper didn’t bleed or lose its structural integrity under any of our stress tests.
The paper pulp used in this notebook is sourced from sustainably managed forests, and no chlorine bleach is used in the production process.
