Out of the many single character works by Inoue thatare bold and overflowing with vitality, Jo from his later years, awork that can be described as the culmination of his experience,was used for this design. The cover interior is dual toned, with adignified ink black and a sky blue color. It has “butterfly stopper”pen holders, which also function as a clasp to keep the cover shut.
