Faux-Stone Pen Blanks – Zebra Jasper

Expertly crafted with a combination of dyed powdered stone and acrylic resins, these faux-stone pen blanks perfectly imitate the appearance of authentic stone. Featuring a sophisticated opaque black and white swirl design, these blanks are ideal for experienced turners looking to elevate their creations with a touch of refinement.

Turning Tip:Faux stone is dense, so the tool needs to be sharp. It can be turned with a roughing gouge, skew, or carbide tools (please watch our video showing these tools in use). Because it is stone, it is porous, so you may want to complete it with a thin CA finish (I recommend 2-3 coats of thin and one or two coats of medium.)
