Produced by solar winds in the magnetic field within Earths atmosphere, the Northern Lights create a dazzling, dancing curtain of color that has entranced Vikings a millennia ago and tourists today. Icelandic Green, Manitoba Blue, and Purple Alaska make up the Esterbrook Northern Lights Series – a limited production fountain pen that will only be available for a short limited time. All three colors have the same general material design with swirls of each designated colour with white. All of them have DiamondCast in the material as well. All three have a trim that matches the colour of the pen. That is the Icelandic Green has a green nib and clip, the Alaska Purple a purple nib and clip and this Manitoba Blue has, shockingly, a blue nib and clip. The pen’s beautiful and contrasting hues reminiscent of the Lights, with a touch of stardust using DiamondCast technology.
