Each pen in the Jolly Roger Vintageset is finished with a handapplied patina imitation, creatinga distinctive timeworn aesthetic.Noticeable variations in tone andtexture are part of the design,enhancing the aged, well-wornappearance.

To achieve this effect, we usedan Giudaic Bitumen solutiontraditionally applied by mastersin painting and decorative arts tocreate an aged, patinated look. Thesolution consists of natural resinsand oils and is safe to use, thoughit may carry a faint, characteristicscent similar to bitumen, which willdissipate over time.

Compact in size, yet comfortable to write with when the cap is posted, this pen is a true marvel in the world of pocket-sized fountain pens. Extensively tested before its launch, thePixie strikes the balance between petite aesthetics and ergonomics, ensuring it is suitable for long writing sessions despite its compact size.
