And hand-dyeing is self-explanatory; it’s the process of immersing each batch with the keen eyes and practiced hands of an expert.
Weeks uses 100% cotton for this floss natural fibers accept dyes more readily (and more beautifully) than synthetic fibers. Visually, there’s a slight sheen to Weeks floss, but it’s incredibly soft to the touch.
Use this floss for a wide variety of embroidery techniques, including cross-stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, and applique. It’s strong, consistent, and easy to stitch.
All Weeks Dye Works products are hand-dyed in Garner, North Carolina. They’re colorfast to textile industry standards and the colors are very consistent from batch to batch. No need to worry about which dye lot your floss came from; it’ll be the same next time.
