Sailor’s Manyo bottled ink series is inspired by the variety of flowers mentioned in the ancient Japanese Manyoshu poems. Manyo inks are dual-shading, meaning the colors shift in areas of heavier coverage, giving a watercolor effect.

“Hinoki”dual-shading ink has tones of blue, teal,and violet. This ink performs best with a high-quality paper to achieve its full potential.
