Equipped with a “slip seal mechanism” that allows easy writing at any time

We also installed the “slip seal mechanism”, which is a feature of our representative model “#3776 Century” of our fountain pen, in “PROCYON”. Even though it is a screw type, it is our original mechanism that completely seals the pen tip with the inner cap to prevent it from drying. You can easily write it out and write in a fresh ink.

A large pentagonal nib with elasticity and excellent flexibility

In 1962, we launched Japan’s first five-point diaphragm gold pen fountain pen. “PROCYON” adopts a pentagonal aperture nib that inherits that know-how. By doing so, it has the writing comfort of a gold pen, even though it is made of stainless steel.

Newly designed pen core for easy ink inhalation

“PROCYON” does not need to be soaked in the ink when gripping the ink with the converter. It is a newly designed pen core that can fully inhale ink just by immersing it around the shoulder of the pen tip. It is now easier to inhale even from ink bottles with low ink levels.

Aluminum body with optimum weight balance design

Although the pen has a voluminous metallic body, it has achieved the best weight balance by using aluminum for the material.in addition, a close attention has been given to obtain a good balance when the cap is placed on the back of the pen so as offer a pleasant writing experience.
