Overview

Founded in 1858, Esterbrook is a rising phoenix in American pen history. At its peak, millions of pens were produced annually. However, a change in market demand saw Esterbrook put out of business in the 70s. Rising out of the ashes, Esterbrook is now back better than ever!

The Estie line is a comfortably balanced fountain pen, fitted with a branded #6 JoWo nib unit. The cushion cap closure also provides a secondary seal to ensure a wet point. Available in a wide range of nibs sizes, the Estie will be your faithful writer for years to come.

The Journaling nib is a custom grind for Esterbrook by Gena Salorino of the Custom Nib Studio in Los Angeles. An apprentice to nibmeister John Mottishaw, this nib is described as a “medium stub grind, based on the vintage Esterbrook 9314M nib. The idea is that its smooth and friendly enough for everyday use, gives your writing some flair, all without being too huge for practical writing.

A converter and 1 ink cartridge is included with this pen and comes housed in a luxurious fabric covered pen box.

For those looking to use their vintage Esterbrook nibs, the Vintage Nib Connector will allow you to use them with this pen.
