The Pompadour Cotinga sports a flamboyant crest reminiscent of a stylishly coiffed hairdo from the 1950s, and deep burgundy hue thats matches the vibrance of the South American Rainforests where it lives. We couldnt resist making an ink color based on this retro rockabilly themed Amazonian songbird, and it has rapidly become a fan favorite. This ink expresses color very dynamically depending on the paper and lighting, sometimes looking a bit more purple, occasionally a hint of brown, sometimes you just dont know what to call it, but it is always beautiful.
