This fabric is cut to order and sold by the linear yard. Our roll of this fabric is 54″ wide, so one linear yard equals 54″ x 36″. If you order more than one yard, we will send a continuous piece of fabric if possible. Please enter the number of yards you’d like to purchase in the quantity field.

Fabric is generally shipped in folded pieces, but larger orders may be shipped on rolls.

Blue Stripe Cotton Ticking

The familiar fabric we call “ticking” is a close-knit, durable, canvas-like material. It’s been used since at least the 17th century as a covering for mattresses (which were once made with prickly materials like straw and raw wool.)

Because it’s available everywhere and it’s an affordable fabric, ticking has become a staple of several industries: garments, upholstery, and interior design. Its characteristic stripes give it a clean, friendly look that designers love.

This six-ounce (about 200 gsm) ticking is woven from white thread, with a blue and cream striped pattern printed on one side only. It’s soft but not stretchy, perfect for wrapping pillows and constructing tote bags.

100% cotton with stain-resistant finish. Made in the United States.
