S.T. Dupont Line D Gradient La Mer – Rollerball

S.T. Dupont are renowned worldwide for producing writing instruments of exceptional quality and the new Gradient collection, is no exception, showcasing S.T. Duponts expert ability to apply natural lacquer to writing instruments of the highest quality.

Available in two distinct finishes, La Flamme and La Mer, each pen offers a remarkable display of color. Luxurious hues are blended to give a subtle gradient effect. Offered in S.T. Duponts iconic large Line D, each pen echoes the ethereal forces of nature: Fire and Water.

Natural Lacquer

Each writing instrument is crafted entirely at the S.T. Dupont factory in Faverges, France and is made utilizing ancient Japanese and Chinese lacquer techniques. Each pen passes through a two-stage production process. First, up to 9 Layers of sumptuous natural lacquer are hand painted to the brass barrel of each pen, the result is a pearl like shimmer and a luxurious finish that is resistant to shocks, scratches and even fire. Once this base lacquer is polished and prepared, the second stage involves spraying an additional pearlescent lacquer in small spurts to give the pens unique gradient effect. The collection is available as a fountain pen and rollerball, and comes in two beautiful designs:

• La Flamme: Orange and yellow hues are blended and accented by black PVD trims
• La Mer: Turquoise and blue hues are blended and accented by trims in palladium

La Flamme

La Flamme, an homage to the essence of the flame, is adorned with fiery hues that capture the imagination with its vibrant warmth. The gradient transitions from a bright yellow at the top of the cap, to warm orange, to bright red, tapering at the end of the pen to a deep burgundy red.

Line D Large

This iconic oversized S.T. Dupont pen features the bold Dupont blazon on the articulated clip, an enhanced Dupont ‘D’ in the crown of the cap and a perfectly balanced shape for exceptional writing. The pen cap closes with Dupont’s iconic ‘cling’ and features a fluted grip section for a superb writing experience. The cap comfortably posts on the back of the pen with a delicate snap. Each pen is presented in an S.T. Dupont gift box.

Available in fountain pen with a newly designed S.T. Dupont 14kt gold nib featuring a wing design in F, M, and B nib widths and rollerball.
