Considered an entry-level fountain pan, with its polished steel nib, provides a satisfying writing experience for all users. One of real advantages of the LAMY AL-star fountain pen is that nibs can be purchased separately and are easily exchanged. A 14K gold nib can also be purchased in nib sizes ranging from EF-OM. The filling system is either a proprietary T10 cartridge or converter; however, the Z28 converter is sold separately.
The LAMY AL-star Fountain Pen is made in a variety of colors, including special editions.
